Abundant Life Mennonite Church (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
The Abundant Life Mennonite Church met at Canadian Mennonite Bible College (now Canadian Mennonite University). Minister John Zacharias served in 1985 as a congregational leader. The congregation has dissolved. It was related to, but not a member of, the Conference of Mennonites in Canada. The language of worship was English.
The congregation began services and formally organized in 1985. John Zacharias is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation was listed only in the 1985 CMC Yearbook.
The group arose out of a need of certain families for more opportunities for charismatic expression in the context of a Mennonite fellowship.
