Broederschap
Broederschapshuizen (Brotherhood houses), the name given in Holland to the Mennonite campgrounds and houses which are available to Mennonites, as well as others, as quarters for conferences and vacation periods. In 1950 the following broederschapshuizen were in existence: Elspeet founded 1925; Fredeshiem, near Steenwijk founded 1929; Schoorl founded 1932; Bilthoven founded 1936; Kraggehuis founded 1921, and Samen Een founded 1932, both near Giethoorn.
