Centro Evangelistico Bet-El (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
5608-38 B Ave., Edmonton, AB, T6L 1W3. (780) 465-1379. Pastor Jorge Vallejos served in 2000 as a congregational leader. In 1985 there were 45 members; in 1995, 15; in 2000 21. The congregation has been affiliated with the Northwest Mennonite Conference (1981-), the Mennonite Church (1981-1999) and the Convention of Hispanic Mennonite Churches. In 1999 the congregation became a provisional member of Mennonite Church Canada. The language of worship is Spanish.
The congregation formally organized in 1981. The congregation originated through the outreach of Holyrood Mennonite Church.
The congregation was first known as Iglesia Evangelica Hispana.
