Church of the Way (Granisle, British Columbia, Canada)
Box 207, Granisle, BC, V0J 1W0. Ed Giesbrecht served in 2006 as a congregational leader. In 1979 there were 24 members; in 1985, 11; in 2000, 9; in 2006, 19. The congregation was affiliated with the Conference of Mennonites in British Columbia/Mennonite Church British Columbia (1979- ). The language of worship is English.
The congregation began services and formally organized in 1973. The first building was occupied in 1979. George and Carol Born are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by First Mennonite Church at Burns Lake, BC.
