Clemens Preaching Appointment (Huron County, Ontario, Canada)
Clemens was the name of a preaching appointment (Mennonite Church) in Grey Township, Huron County, Ontario during the 1870s. It appears that a family by the name of Clemens lived there and that the Mennonites conducted services in this home for several years, at first with eight-week intervals and later near 1880 at four-week intervals. Ministers were supplied; there was no organized work. This appointment was under the Mennonite Conference of Ontario.
