Box 413, Drayton, ON, N0G 1P0. (519) 638-3012. Located at 109 Wellington St. S., Drayton. Pastor Willard Metzger served in 2004 as congregational leader. In 1950 there were 10 members; in 1965, 43; in 1975, 37; in 1985, 64; in 1995, 70; in 2000, 140. The congregation has been affiliated with the Mennonite Conference of Ontario (1958-1988), the Mennonite Church (1958-1999), the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada (1988-) and the Conference of Mennonites in Canada / Mennonite Church Canada (1995-). The language of worship is English.
The congregation began services in 1948, and formally organized in 1949. The first building was purchased privately in 1947 by Amos Brubacher for the purpose of mission outreach. There was a subsequent building program on the Drayton site in 1996/97. Amos Brubacher is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through colonization from Waterloo County.
The congregation was originally known as Moorefield Mennonite Church. In 1989 the congregation merged with Berea Mennonite Church, and met in the Moorefield church building until 1997.
