Culloden Mennonite Brethren Church (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
6060 Culloden St., Vancouver, BC, V5W 3S4. (604) 327-4640. Pastor George Baier served in 2000 as a congregational leader. In 1975 there were 542 members; in 1985, 388; in 1995, 277; in 2000 233. The congregation has been affiliated with the British Columbia Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Churches, the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1969-) and the General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The language of worship is English and German.
The congregation began services and formally organized in 1969. The first building was occupied in 1969. D.B. Wiens is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through colonization from the Prairies, immigration from South America and transfer of members from Vancouver Mennonite Brethren Church due to the latter's size.
