Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church (St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada)

455 Geneva St., St. Catharines, ON, L2N 2H2. (905) 934-3398. Pastor Waldo Pauls served in 2001 as a congregational leader. In 1965 there were 201 members; in 1975, 406; in 1985, 403; in 1995, 279; in 2000, 297. The congregation has been affiliated with the Ontario Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1963-), Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1964-) and General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1963-). The language of worship is English.

The congregation began services and formally organized in 1963. The first building was occupied in 1964. Wally Unger is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Scott St. Mennonite Brethren Church over a desire to use the English language in worship.
