Harms (Harm, Harmssen, Harmsen) family
This Dutch Prussian Mennonite family name is still common in the Netherlands as a given name (Harm). The name occurred in the Mennonite congregations of Danzig, Elbing, Thiensdorf, Orlofferfelde, Tragheimerweide, Montau-Gruppe, and Deutsch-Kazun. From these congregations the name was transplanted to Russia, United States, Canada, and South America.
