Heron Evangelical Mennonite Church (Maryfield, Saskatchewan, Canada)
Box 205, Maryfield, SK, S0G 3K0. In 1965 there were 48 members; in 1975, 54; in 1985, 53; in 1993, 30. The congregation dissolved about 1993. It had been affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Conference since 1961. The language of worship was English.
The congregation began services and formally organized in 1961. The first building was occupied in 1961. Frank P. Kroeker is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through colonization from rural Manitoba and outreach by the Evangelical Mennonite Conference.
