Hillside Community Church (Aldergrove, British Columbia, Canada)
2013-248th St., Aldergrove, BC, V4W 2B7. (604) 856-6113. Located 2.2 miles south of Fraser Highway. Pastor Bill Keyes served in 2001 as a congregational leader. In 1995 there were 25 members; in 2000, 47. The congregation has been affiliated with the British Columbia Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Churches and the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The language of worship is English.
The congregation began services and formally organized in 1988. Vic Peters is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the British Columbia Conference.
Hillside Community Church replaced South Otter Mennonite Brethren which dissolved in November 1987 because of problems in that congregation. Hillside had a charter membership of 16.
