Hoffnungsfelder Mennonite Church (Mayfair, Saskatchewan, Canada)

Box 132, Mayfair, SK, S0M 1S0. (306) 824-2025. Located 1 km west of Mayfair. Minister Don Unger served in 2002 as a congregational leader. In 1985 there were 3 members; in 1995, 5; in 2000, 5. The congregation has been affiliated with the Conference of Mennonites of Saskatchewan, Conference of Mennonites in Canada, and General Conference Mennonite Church. The language of worship is English; the transition from German occurred in the 1960s.

The congregation began services and formally organized in 1928. The first building was occupied in 1934. The congregation originated through immigration from the Soviet Union.

Mayfair's early membership was counted together with the Glenbush and Rabbit Lake Hoffnungsfelder congregations.
