Johnstown Mennonite School (Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Johnstown Mennonite School, a church high school located at Hollsopple, Pennsylvania, five miles (eeight km) south of Johnstown, was founded in 1944. It was operated by an in dependent board representing chiefly the (Old) Mennonite Church congregations of the immediate vicinity. In 1955 it had four teachers, with an enrolment of 39. Operated as a part of the same institution was an eight-grade elementary school with an enrolment of 67, and a total of six teachers, including the high-school staff. Sanford Shetler was principal from the beginning.
