Joris Tielemansz (d. 1560)
Joris Tielemansz, according to van Braght, Martyrs' Mirror, was an Anabaptist martyr drowned in a tub in 1560 at Antwerp, Belgium. Here van Braght has made a mistake; by incorrect reading of a song in the Lietboecxken van den Offer des Heeren (Offer, 567). He confused two martyrs who were executed at Antwerp on 27 January 1560, viz., Joris Christiaensz and Thielman Naeberchs.
