Kerckhove, van de

Van de Kerckhove (Kerhoven) was a Mennonite family which emigrated from Flanders to the Netherlands. One branch moved to Haarlem as early as about 1590 and became related by marriage to other Mennonite families such as Meevels, Teyler, and Snep. Another branch settled about 1630 near Aardenburg in Dutch Zealand Flanders. Here Tanneken van den Kerckhove was married about 1632 to Christoffel Hebberecht. Both branches have died out.
