Lakeview Mennonite Brethren Church (Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada)

1509 29th St. S., Lethbridge, AB, T1K 2X6. (403) 327-5854. Pastor Al Poettcker served in 2000 as a congregational leader. In 1965 there were 51 members; in 1975, 208; in 1985, 106; in 1995, 117; in 2000, 62. The congregation has been affiliated with Alberta Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1963-), Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1963-) and General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1963-). The language of worship is English.

The congregation began services and formally organized in 1963. The first building was occupied in 1965 with a subsequent building program in 1972. Allan Guenther is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Alberta Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.
