Maerten Cornelisz (d. 1558)
Maerten Cornelisz (Marten de Schoenmaker), an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake at The Hague, Holland, on 7 July 1558 with Waechlink Dirks (Walig Dirk Luytgensz) and Adriaen Pietersz (Adriaen Pier Trappers). All three were natives of Winkel, Dutch province of North Holland. Particulars about these martyrs are lacking.
