Mariken Vrancken (d. before 1547)
Mariken Vrancken (Vrencken), an Anabaptist martyr, who was drowned at Stockheim "int Lant van Ludich" (Liege in Belgium?) together with her husband Thysken. The year of their execution is unknown, but it must have happened before 1547, in which year Metken, Mariken's sister-in-law, gave the information concerning Thysken's and Mariken's death during her trial in August 1547 at Valkenburg, Dutch province of Limburg. Particulars about Mariken Vrancken and Thysken are unknown.
