Memelniederung (Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia)
Memelniederung (Lowland of the Memel River) the name given in 1928-1841 by the Gemeinde-Kalender to the Mennonite congregation in East Prussia near Tilsit, formerly known as the Lithuanian congregation (Litthauer Gemeinde), except in two issues, 1926 and 1927, when it was listed as Adlig Pokraken. At the earliest appearance of the congregation in the Dutch Naamlijst it already bore the name "the congregation in Lithuania."
