Mennonitische Lehrerzeitung

Mennonitische Lehrerzeitung, a 16-page quarterly edited by Victor Peters, Horndean, MB, first issue July 1948. With the July 1950 number it changed its title to Mennonitische Welt and became a monthly. As the title indicated, its purpose was to serve Mennonite teachers in Canada, especially those still speaking German, with educational, literary, and cultural material, definitely oriented within Mennonitism, but also concerned to promote the maintenance of the German language among Canadian Mennonites.
