Miami Amish Mennonite Church, an unaffiliated Mennonite congregation, located in the southern part of Miami County, Indiana, and serving the Amish Mennonite community of Miami and Howard counties, was organized in 1939 with 18 members. At first, services were held in homes but in June 1946 a brick school was converted into a church. In 1956 the membership was 49. Levi Sommers was the first minister of the congregation. On 18 April 1948 Ezra Miller and Enos Miller were ordained to the office of minister and a year later Ezra Miller was ordained bishop. In 1956 they were still serving.
