Nembsche (Morava, Czech Republic)

Nembsche (Nemtschan, Niemtscha; Czech, Němčany), a village near Austerlitz (coordinates: 49.166944, 16.919722 [49° 10′ 1″ N, 16° 55′ 11″ E]) Under John, Baron of Kaunitz, the Hutterian Brethren settled there in 1560. Not much is known of this Bruderhof. In 1570 the poet Christoph Hueter or Schiffmann died there. At Easter of 1600 the Bruderhof was abandoned by the Brethren "on account of the many taxes and burdens of the military men which they could not carry."
