New Rosedale Hutterite Colony (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada)

The New Rosedale Hutterite Bruderhof, 15 miles (25 km) southwest of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, was founded in 1944 by Andreas Hofer and eleven families from the Rosedale Bruderhof near Elie, Manitoba. In 1947 the population of the colony was 87, of whom 32 were baptized members.
