Nieuwpoort (West-Vlaanderen, Belgium)

Nieuwpoort, West Flanders, Belgium (coordinates: 51° 7′ 0″ N, 2° 45′ 0″ E), was in 1534-1535 the seat of an Anabaptist congregation, mostly consisting of Anabaptists from Holland, who often stayed here some time before crossing the channel to England.
