Noodbrug, De (Periodical)

De Noodbrug (Emergency Bridge) was a Dutch Mennonite periodical edited by S. H. N. Gorter and C. Nijdam and published by the Algemene Doopsgezinde Sociƫteit (Dutch General Mennonite Conference) after the end of World War II. It replaced De Zondagsbode, which had been forbidden during the war by the German Nazi regime then occupying the Netherlands. The first issue of De Noodbrug appeared in June 1945 and the last one (12th) was published in September 1946, when it was succeeded by the Algemeen Doopsgezind Weekblad.
