Northdale Mennonite Fellowship (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
The Northdale Mennonite Fellowship began services in 1972, and formally organized in 1975. The first building was occupied in 1978. Peter Rempel is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Springfield Heights Mennonite Church over desire to use the English language, and the size of the latter church.
The congregation was known as Springfield Mennonite Fellowship until 1975. The congregation merged with Valley Gardens Community Church in 1995 to form Jubilee Mennonite Church at the same location.
In 1975 there were 43 members; in 1985, 53; in 1994, 17. The congregation had been affiliated with the Conference of Mennonites in Manitoba (1975-95) and the Conference of Mennonites in Canada (1975-95). The language of worship was English.
The congregation was located at 365 Edelweiss Cres., Winnipeg, MB. Congregational Chairperson Paul Wiebe served in 1994 as a congregational leader.
