Northview Community Church (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)
The Northview Community Church began services and formally organized in 1980, meeting at the Mennonite Educational Institute. The first building was occupied in 1988, with a subsequent building project in 1993. The congregation originated through outreach by the British Columbia Mennonite Brethren Conference.
In 1985 there were 189 members; in 1996, 1,148; in 2000, 1900. The congregation has been affiliated with the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches and the General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The language of worship is English.
Senior pastors have included Merv Boschman (1980-1988) and Vern Heidebrecht (1988-)
