Oud-Wulven (Houten, The Netherlands)
Oud-Wulven, a Mennonite home for children at Houten in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It was founded on 16 September 1947 on the initiative of the Mennonite Foundation for Special Needs (see Stichting voor Bizondere Noden) to educate uncared-for children (ages 4-12 or even older). The first directors were Mr. and Mrs. R. de Zeeuw (1947-1955). In 1957 about 20 children found shelter in Oud-Wulven. In 1958 the home was moved to Schoorl.
