Pancratz

Pancratz, a Mennonite family formerly found among the Mennonites of West Prussia, Germany, particularly in the Flemish churches of Schönsee and Przechovka. Here Peter Pancratz was a preacher 1762 - d. c.1788, and Andreas Pancratz 1785-after 1802. Later some members of this family moved to Russia. Pancratz may have been a Slavic name, and its bearers of Slavic ancestry.
