People's Mission (Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada)
The People's Mission at Fort St. John, BC originated through outreach by the Conference of Mennonites in British Columbia, but had no formal affiliation with Mennonites. It was formerly known as Church of the Open Door. It left the conference in 1966 over theological issues. The church was located at 9008 - 100th Ave., Fort St. John, BC.
In 2008 the congregation merged with the Fort St. John Evangelical Free Church, a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, to form the Fort St. John Evangelical Mission Church.
