Pilgrim Fellowship Missions (Mennonite), Belize, is the name of the local corporation through which Amish Mennonite Aid (Beachy Amish Mennonites), Plain City, Ohio, channels its mission efforts in Belize. The obvious material need created by Hurricane Hattie in 1962 provided the open door for a mission program which by 1987 grew to include 25 adult volunteers at 6 locations. The main emphasis was church planting with an effort toward indigenous churches. Each location had a church; three had mission-sponsored schools and one had a clinic.
