Salzman, Thomas (d. 1527)
Thomas Salzman, a sheath maker in Strasbourg, Alsace, was put to death by beheading in 1527 on a charge of denying the deity of Christ. In his trial he approved of "the plans of the Anabaptists," but it is not known that he belonged to an Anabaptist group.
