Schneider, Adam (16th century)
Adam Schneider, a young Hutterite, who was seized with Anderle Schlosser at Oettingen in April 1578, while they were on their way from Tyrol to Moravia; they were severely tortured and subjected to many attempts to convert them. They, however, made a marvelous escape from prison and reached the brotherhood in Moravia.
