Scott, Clifford Isaiah (1871-1933)

Clifford Isaiah Scott was born in Emporia, Kansas, 19 October 1871, the son of Isaiah and Harriet Sinks Scott. He married Olive Shelley on 10 November 1896. He served as pastor of various churches in the Indiana and Ohio Conference, and also in the Nebraska Conference of the United Missionary Church. In 1906-1908 he was district superintendent of the Ohio District of the Indiana and Ohio Conference; 1914-1933 district superintendent of the Nebraska Conference. He was a delegate to the Quadrennial General Conference five times, and chairman once. He died in 1933.
