Thijmon Hendriksz (d. 1537)

Thijmon Hendriksz (Thomas Henriczn), an Anabaptist martyr, beheaded 12 April 1537, at Amsterdam, because he had attended forbidden meetings (of the Anabaptists). He had been rebaptized about three years previously and held heretical views. The sentence in full is published by van Braght. Thijmon was a native of Kampen in the Dutch province of Overijssel.
