Unzicker, Christian (19th century)
Christian Unzicker, an Amish Mennonite preacher in Upper Hesse, Germany, who wrote articles in the Mennonitische Blätter sponsoring the training of Mennonite preachers and promoting Mennonite principles, and who with Joseph Unzicker of Henriettenthal, elder of the Nassau congregation, favored a union of all the Mennonites. On 20 and 21 May 1867, a meeting for the purpose of uniting was held in Offenthal.
