Weisenheim am Berg (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)
Weisenheim am Berg, formerly in the duchy of Leiningen, Palatinate, Germany, is mentioned in the Dutch Naamlijst of 1767 as the seat of a Mennonite congregation of Swiss refugees, with Christian Jotter (Yoder) (later elder until ca. 1785) and Christian Schwartstrauben (until ca. 1785) as preachers. The Mennonites of Weisenheim, who under the counts of Leiningen worshiped undisturbed, later formed the congregation of Altleiningen.
