Wheatley Old Colony Mennonite Church (Wheatley, Ontario, Canada)

The Wheatley Old Colony Mennonite congregation at Wheatley, ON began services and formally organized in 1966. The first building was occupied in 1972. The congregation originated through immigration from Mexico. The congregation also supports a primary school for its children.

In 1975 there were 1650 members; in 1990 there were over 2000. The congregation has been affiliated with the Old Colony Mennonite Church. The membership total is for all Old Colony Mennonites in the area. The language of worship is German.

The church is located five km north of Wheatley on the Town Line. Bishop Cornelius Enns served in 1991 as a non-salaried congregational leader.
