Willingdon Mennonite Brethren Church (Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada)
The Willingdon Mennonite Brethren congregation in Burnaby, BC began services and formally organized in 1961. The first building was occupied in 1961, with subsequent building programs in 1972, 1982 and 1991-92. George Letkeman is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from the Vancouver Mennonite Brethren church due to the increasing size of the congregation.

In 1965 there were 187 members; in 1975, 329; in 1985, 825; in 1993, 1153; in 2000, 1822. The congregation has been affiliated with the British Columbia Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Churches (1961-), Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1961-) and General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1961-2002). The language of worship is English, although in 2002 simultaneous interpretation was provided into six other languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Korean, Japanese and Russian), with worship opportunities in even more.
The congregation's address is 4812 Willingdon Ave., Burnaby, BC, V5G 3H6. (604) 435-5544. Pastor Carlin E. Weinhauer served in 2002 as a congregational leader.
