Youths’ Monitor was an 8-page 7.5 x 10.5 in. illustrated religious magazine published by Daniel Brenneman at Goshen, IN, monthly, 1883-85, "in the interest of the young people and children, adapted especially for the home circle and Sabbath school." It contained articles, stories, and poems, mostly written by a group of "special contributors" and letters written by the readers and occasionally by the special contributors. For the first seven months the list of special contributors included Mennonites of other groups as well as Evangelical United Mennonites, the group of which Daniel Brenneman was a leader. Later the contributors seem to have been exclusively Evangelical United Mennonites (later a part of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ (MBritish Columbia, Canada)).
