Zandeweer (Groningen, Netherlands)

Zandeweer, a hamlet in the Dutch province of Groningen, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 17 persons in 1563-1565, and later two more. Since there was apparently no congregation at Zandeweer the converts may have joined a neighboring congregation like Uithuizen, Zijldijk, or Huizinge.
