Zonshofje (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Zonshofje, a Mennonite home for aged women at Amsterdam, Holland, built in 1765 on the site of the former "Arke Noach" Mennonite meetinghouse (1670-79 of the Kleine Zon, and 1720-52 of the Frisian congregation). The home was founded by the Amsterdam Zonist church for its members. It was enlarged at the end of the 19th century and now has room for 32 unattached women.
