Claremont Hutterite Colony was founded in 1995 as a division from the Poinsett Hutterite Colony. In 2012 Claremont Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony. The minister was Jonathan Wollman Sr. and the manager was Jonathan Wollman, Jr.
