Fortschritt (Periodical)
Fortschritt was a four-page monthly published at Newton, Kansas, and edited by David Goerz to promote the Mennonite Mutual Fire Insurance of North America (later Midland Mutual Fire Insurance). The paper contained information of interest to Mennonites in the prairie states. The first issue appeared probably in December 1886, since the only available issue, that of June 1887, is No. 6 of Vol. I, in which it is stated that it was a monthly publication. When publication was discontinued is unknown.
