Gheryt (d. 1535)

Gheryt, a Dutch Anabaptist from Deventer, who took part in the Anabaptist revolt and assault on the town hall at Amsterdam, 10-11 May 1535. He was executed on 14 May in a bestially cruel way. Gheryt had been baptized by Jacob van Campen in the fall of 1533 in his own house at Amsterdam.
