Holwierde (Groningen, Netherlands)
Holwierde, in the Dutch province of Groningen, is where Leenaert Bouwens baptized ten persons in 1563-1565. Since there was no congregation here, the newly baptized must have joined neighboring congregations, either Appingedam or Bierum.
