Hoogkarspel (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)
Hoogkarspel is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 35 persons in 1563-1565. This large number indicates the existence of a Mennonite congregation in this town, of which, however, nothing is known and in any case dissolved before 1650.
