Jan van Halteren (d. 1539)

Jan van Halteren, an Anabaptist martyr, was be headed 2 June 1539, at Haarlem, Dutch province of North Holland. Here he was arrested in the house of Lambrecht Duppijns. He was originally from the Dutch province of Utrecht and obviously an adherent of David Joris.
