Light and Hope Missionary Society
Light and Hope Missionary Society was established by J. A. Sprunger (1852-1911) at Berne, Indiana, in 1893, as the agency to own and operate the Light and Hope Orphanage, and a deaconess training school. His Light and Hope Publishing Co., established in 1898 at Berne, was a separate though parallel organization.
