Plainview Hutterite Colony (Leola, South Dakota, USA)

Plainview Hutterite Colony in Leola, South Dakota, was founded in 1957 (Hofer says 1958) as a division from the Spink Hutterite Colony

Daughter colonies of Plainview Hutterite Colony include Deerfield Hutterite Colony (Ipswich, South Dakota) and Heartland Hutterite Colony (Lake Benton, Minnesota).

In 2012 the Plainview Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony. The minister was Joshua Wipf and the manager was Ernie Wipf.
